Returns + Refunds
Kia Ora! We want you to be happy with your purchase from PEREHANA, but we get that sometimes things don't work out as planned. If something has happened, we offer a RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY towards finding a resolution.
1. PLACING AN ORDER
Please make sure to choose items carefully before placing a order. PEREHANA will provide product description(s) and image(s), that we encourage you to review to ensure you are satisfied with your selection before you place an order.
Unfortunately we can't take any returns or exchanges solely due to a change of mind or other preference.
2. FAULTY OR WRONG ORDERS
Please check your order upon receipt and email us immediately at perehanadesigns@gmail.com if the order is faulty or you've received the wrong order.
If we have sent the wrong order. we'll send a free mailer bag out to you. On receipt and inspection of the order, we'll send the correct original order purchased back to you if available, else a suitable alternative will be exchanged or gift card to the same value. PEREHANA will cover shipping costs as per the original order, to send the item to your original postal address.
3. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
1. We offer 14 days on returns from date of purchase, after this time expires any returns or exchanges will not be accepted.
2. Any return(s) must be in the same condition that you received it and must be in original packaging and tags.
You'll need your order number (proof of purchase) and contact details when submitting any return(s)
Costs incurred for shipping (including tracking) of any returns to PEREHANA is your responsibility. PEREHANA is not liable for lost or missing returns. We do recommend including tracking when sending items back to us.
Only full priced items are eligible for a refund or exchange. All sale items are final. PEREHANA does not accept returns or exchanges that were purchased using gift cards or store credit.
4. ITEMS THAT CAN BE RETURNED
1. Clothing and Faulty Jewellery
2. Damaged or Defective Print on Demand product. (Please see number 6. PRINT ON DEMAND (POD) PRODUCTS) for further information.
Returns will only be accepted for jewellery items that are deemed faulty upon receipt. If PEREHANA deems that the item(s) returned does not meet these conditions, we reserve the right to refuse any return(s) that don't meet our RETURNS & REFUNDS policy.
5. ITEMS THAT CAN'T BE RETURNED
1. For hygiene and safety reasons anything that has been worn or used
2. Contemporary Māori Kakahu. This is to ensure the integrity of the product's design and materials used.
6. PRINT ON DEMAND (POD) PRODUCTS
Non Returnable Items
Due to the custom nature of Print on Demand products, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item arrives damaged or defective. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item.
Damages & Issues
If you receive a damaged or defective Print on Demand item, please contact us immediately at perehanadesigns@gmail.com with a photo of the damaged item, your order number, and a brief description of the issue. We may require you to return the item to us for further evaluation, based on the information within this policy in order to find a resolution.
7. GIFT CARDS + DIGITAL DOWNLOADS
Non Refundable
Due to the nature of digital products, our digital prints (downloads) and eGift cards are non refundable once purchased and cannot be returned or exchanged for cash, once they have been downloaded.
All sales of eGift cards and digital prints are final. PEREHANA is not responsible if you lose your eGift card or digital print email or delete it, once it has been sent. It is your responsibility to keep it secure and use it. Please carefully review your order details before confirming your purchase. eGift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.

8. REQUESTING A RETURN

If your return is accepted, we'll send you a Return Reference Number (RRN) and any additional instructions on how and where to send your package. You should request a return first, before sending items to us. If you don't, unfortunately we cannot accept your return.
9. REFUND
You will be notified once we've received and checked over your return, to let you know if it has been approved. If approved, you'll be refunded on your original payment method within 7 business days. Please be aware it may be longer as your bank or credit card company have to process your refund too. Any refunds exclude the cost of shipping the return to us.
Please contact us if your refund was approved, and after 14 business days of approval, the refund hasn't been received.
